Merriam Turkey Hunt

Our hunt for Merriam turkey occurs on private land in Quay and San Miguel Counties, New Mexico. The habitat of the ranch is creek bottoms and Pinon/Juniper terrain. The ranch holds a large population of turkey and the population is growing. We hunt in areas that have a two bearded bird limit. The cost of the hunt includes meals, appropriate number of guides, courtesy transportation during the hunt, and cleaning of the birds. The hunter is responsible for their license, motel
accommodations, personal gear, weapon and transportation to and from the camp. We have only had two people in five years not harvest two birds. This hunt is limited to no more than two hunters per hunt.

Rio Grande Turkey Hunt

Our hunts for Rio Grande turkey occur southwest of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in Grady County, Oklahoma. The hunt is on numerous private landholdings with the largest landholding being 3000 acres. The habitat is creek bottoms, hardwoods, and fields. The area has an excellent population of birds. We hunt in areas that have a two bearded bird limit. Cost of the guided hunts includes meals, appropriate
number of guides, courtesy transportation during the hunt, and cleaning of the birds. The hunter is responsible for their license, personal gear, and motel accommodations. Unguided hunts are trespass only with no amenities. This hunt continues to produce two birds per hunter since we started hunting these areas five years ago.
