Combination Hunts

We offer different combination hunts for various species. These combinations depend on availability of permits for each hunt. Each hunt is also sold individually and therefore may be sold out early. Early booking will enable you to combine species. The possible combination hunts available are:

Public Land Elk Hunts

  • Bow Elk Hunts in game management units 51A, 52, 10, 34, 36 and 37. Deer hunting may be combined with the bow hunts. You will need to draw both permits.
  • Rifle Elk Hunts in game management unit 51A and unit 52
Mule deer may be combined with the Oct. 20-24, 2012 Unit 51A or 52 elk hunt.

Antelope and Bear Hunt

A bear hunt can be schedule prior to or after the northern Antelope hunt. It can be scheduled before or after the southern Antelope hunt but the bear hunt is bow only.

Bear and Elk Hunts

Bear hunts may also be combined with each elk or mule deer hunt. New Mexico has a quota management system on bears so you will need to buy the license prior to the hunt and make sure that the season will be open. The license must be bought two days prior to the start of a hunt.
