Valle Vidal Elk Hunts

The Valle Vidal Unit of the Carson National Forest is approximately 100,000 acres and is one of the premier trophy elk areas in the United States. Created in 1980, it has been continually managed for quality elk hunting. You must draw a license for this once in a lifetime hunt. Due to the demand for the licenses in this area, the odds of drawing are low.

  • The cost of the hunt includes: accommodations, meals, appropriate number of guides, retrieval of game, and trophy preparation of the animal.
  • The hunter is responsible for: applying for the license with our help, their personal gear, weapon, and transportation to and from camp.

Application Deadline: March 28, 2012
